MY river runs by Iowa. Iowa? A Yankee state? Humph.
There's a tradition on ragbrai that you dip your front bike tire in
the river when you've completed the ride. If you start of in Le Claire
as I'm doing you're supposed to dip your rear wheel in before you go.
Sorry. I stood in line too long loading my bike in the truck to go
fetch it long enough to baptize it in the river. It's just gonna have
to be unsaved. ("is this chair saved?" " no but we're praying for
it ...")
